Libya Africa Portfolio for Investments (LAP) has been established under the General People's Committee Decree No. 15 in 2006, and It is under Supervision of Libya's main soverign wealth fund the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA). LAP's Headquarter is in Tripoli, Libya.

Objectives of LAP are to develop and invest its funds in all areas of natural resources, technology, tourism, real-estate, services and financials.

Initiated with capital of $ 5 billion dollar. Subsidiary companies: Oil Libya Holding Company (previously Tam Oil Africa), Libyan Arab Company for African Investments, Afriqiyah Airlines, LAP Green Holding Company, Laptech Holdings Ltd and other various projects and shares.

LAP is continually seeking new partnerships with global institutions for investment opportunities in Libya and Africa for financial returns and economic development.
